1 Security

You are safe when you shop with us. Mykarma has been in business for more than seven years since 1999. Mykarma uses PayPal-approved software called Zen Cart. Zen Cart uses 128-bit (minimum) encryption for secure credit card processing, which is approved by leading banks. If you choose to pay by PayPal or Google Checkout, we don’t even get to see your credit card details and do not store them. We shall take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information and we are responsible about the manner in which we store your information. If you use common sense, shopping at reputable sites like ours, the web is not a dangerous place to buy. We believe that:


· the risk of using your card at our site is no greater (and probably less) than using your card in a shop or restaurant;

· as credit card companies and agents such as PayPal and Google Checkout use state of the art anti-fraud mechanisms that you are safe buying from us;

· buying on-line from us is as safe as (or safer than) buying by mail order;

· you should be confident buying from Mykarma – you are protected in the UK by the same laws as protect you when you but by mail order or over the phone;


2 No quibble guarantee

We want you to be happy every time you shop with us. We do know that occasionally you may want to send items back, so we have a no quibble guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days, and we’ll issue a full refund for the price you paid.


3 Privacy policy - data protection

We promise that we shall never give or sell your details to anybody else nor any company. We shall only use customer data for legitimate business purposes.


We do not send spam (unsolicited marketing e-mails).


We capture information about you by direct means only (for example when you order and/or submit enquiries). We use cookies (little packets of information left by our site on your computer) only to ensure that we correctly keep track of your order and to make sure that we offer you items of interest. When you order or submit enquiries to us, you are agreeing to the use of your personal information for the following purposes:


· to fulfil our agreement/s with you, including administering your account, processing and obtaining payment

· to inform you (by mail, telephone, e-mail, or otherwise) about our products and services which we consider may be of interest to you

· for fraud prevention and detection

· for the administration of any competitions which you may enter

4 Terms and conditions

In order to comply with the European Union (EU) Directive on Distance Selling, you must agree our Terms & Conditions before your order will be processed. These terms and conditions for the sale of goods govern any contract for sale that you and we enter into and inform you of each of our rights, responsibilities and obligations. These Terms and Conditions do not affect any rights granted to you by law: Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

6 Purchasing from us

The minimum order value for orders is £15.00


When you place an order with us you are offering to buy the goods and permitting us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto our couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes other than those stated in our Privacy Statement without having previously asked your permission. You may request that your details are removed from our system by writing to us.


A contract is made between us only when we have confirmed acceptance of your order and until that happens we are not obliged to supply the goods. Your credit/debit card payment will be deducted prior to us sending the goods you have ordered. This will usually be within 48 hours of the goods being despatched. You do not own the goods until we have received payment in full. Sometimes, it may be discovered that something you have ordered is not in stock and/or not available. When this happens if we believe that we cannot re-stock and despatch the item within 7 working days, we shall contact you and advise you of the delay and give you the opportunity to cancel the affected part of your order. Some items on this site are unique and it is possible that such items may not be available even though they are listed as such. It is also possible that these items may not be stocked at our premises and there may be a delay of more than 7 working days for delivery of these items. All prices and offers are subject to change and availability and to not selling below our cost price. Errors and omissions excepted.


7 Payment options

Through our payment handling agents, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards. Our payment handling agents may offer you other ways to pay or may withdraw a payment method or methods. We only despatch goods to the registered address of the card used for payment. If you prefer to pay by cheque, please print off your order and send the print out with a cheque drawn on a UK bank made payable to Mykarma Limited. We have to allow at least seven working days for cheque clearance. Cheques have to be cleared before we despatch the order. Normally, payments for goods will not be taken more than two days before the expected despatch day.


Orders placed via our website are invoiced and payable in UK Pounds (that is, £ or GBP). If we show a price in another currency, the prices shown are for information only and are approximate: The amount you will actually be charged will vary depending on your bank or card’s current exchange rate.


8 Order confirmations

You will receive confirmation of your order by email. Please check that the details contained in the email are correct. If there are any mistakes, please advise us by email immediately. Our email to you is neither an invoice nor a formal acceptance of your order. Invoices are sent by e-mail to the purchaser's address and are sent with the goods or separately in some instances. In the unlikely event of us being unable to fulfil your order or part thereof, or there being an error in your order we will advise you as soon as possible. If payment has been made on an order that we are unable to fulfil we shall refund payment by the same method by which the payment was made.


9 VAT & duty

The prices shown on the product pages include UK VAT (where applicable) at a rate of 17.5%. VAT is deducted automatically in the shopping basket for non-EU customers. Local taxes & duties for those outside the EU are the responsibility of the shopper or recipient in the country of destination: Under these circumstances, you may be charged a clearance/collection fee by the shipping service. We are not responsible for these extra costs/charges.

11 Damaged or defective goods

We do our best to supply only goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship. You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage and notify us as soon as possible if there are any problems so that we can arrange for their collection at no cost to you. Damages and shortages must be notified within 3 working days of delivery. Please retain all documents and packaging. We will at our option replace the goods or refund monies paid by you.


12 Non Delivery

Please inform us within 21 days of placing your order if the goods have not been delivered. Although we may still be able to trace your items after this time we will not consider claims for lost items after this period.


13 Returning goods/cancelling your contract

You have the right to cancel the contract and receive a refund, provided that the goods are returned undamaged and complete, together with the relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition. You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within fourteen working days starting from the day after the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to insure the goods adequately. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for the cost.


If you want to cancel your contract, please write to us at the address below. We require all cancellation requests in writing, within 14 working days starting on the day after you receive the goods from us. Please use the Contact Us link for the relevant addresses. Alternatively fax us on 087-0124-2331 (internationally, +44 87-0124-2331). We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any collection costs, within 30 days from the day on which we receive the goods back from you provided they are as provided to you and in a re-saleable condition or in the event that the goods have not been despatched by us on receipt of your notice of cancellation in writing. Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment as used to place the order.


You will need to get a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number from us before you despatch any goods back to us. We shall not accept goods back without a valid RMA being included legibly on the address label.


Please be sure to include the following details with all returns: Your name, daytime telephone number, order number, and the reason for the return as well as the RMA.


14 Business customers

If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes we will not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect), business data, revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability will be limited to the price paid for the goods. We do not exclude our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury. For us performance time is not of the essence. You will not export any goods purchased from us in contravention of United States of America export controls.


If you have a credit account with us payment is due in the number of days specified in the invoice. If payment is not received within 30 days of the date of our invoice we may charge interest for late payment calculated daily at 4% above Barclays Bank base rate.


Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to Business Customers.
